Hear Me Foundation’s Sign Language Quran at Ibtisamah School

Learning to read the Quran is an essential part of spiritual development for Muslims, especially from an early age. However, for Deaf children, access to Quranic education is often limited. To address this challenge, the Sign Language Quran has emerged as an innovative solution, creating more inclusive and Deaf-friendly educational opportunities.

Through collaboration with the Hear Me Foundation, the Sign Language Quran is now available at the Deaf Learning Center Ibtisamah Mulia in Kota Bekasi. Sign Language Quran helps deaf students to recognize and understand the Quran in a more accessible and enjoyable way, using sign language animation as a learning medium. With an interactive and deaf-friendly interface, this program enables students to learn the holy verses of the Quran more quickly and effectively.

The Hear Me Foundation has also conducted training and awareness sessions for the students at the Deaf Learning Center Ibtisamah Mulia, emphasizing the importance of using Deaf-friendly educational tools. This initiative underscores a commitment to fostering an inclusive educational ecosystem, where every child has equal opportunities to learn and understand the Quran.

The collaboration between the Hear Me Foundation and the Deaf Learning Center Ibtisamah Mulia is expected to serve as a model for other educational institutions to adopt more Deaf-friendly learning tools. With growing support for inclusive education, we can work towards building a brighter, more intelligent, and empathetic future for Indonesia—one that values and celebrates diversity.

Support inclusive education and expand access for Deaf children through Deaf-friendly technology. Together, we can create a more just and prosperous future for all!
